Dear colleagues,

The Graphic Design Section of the Hungarian Association of Fine and Applied Artists will announce the 25th Graphic Design Biennial in 2026. The organizing committee of the event launched a series of periodic exhibitions of graphic design art in Hungary in 1978, with the aim of presenting graphic design to the public. The event's organizing committee launched a series of periodic exhibitions of graphic design art in Hungary in 1978, with the aim of presenting the international development of graphic design styles, new values, and new generations. Creative artists and students of higher education in the arts are eligible to apply. Graphic design works and autonomous creations created between 2024 and 2026 on any subject may be submitted. (Posters, logos, illustrations, corporate identities, publications, web design, information systems, stamps, etc.) The exhibition will be held in the exhibition halls of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts and will open in early March. 

 

Entry • Works submitted digitally for judging will only be used for judging, cataloguing, and promoting the event. Exhibitors will be informed later about the details of collecting physical works (prints) selected for the exhibition. The name of the artist (and, in the case of students in higher education, the name of the educational institution and

the name of the supervisor) must be clearly displayed in the lower right-hand corner of the selected printed works in 70×100cm portrait (!) format.

about how to submit their printed works.

Awards • At the opening of the Biennial, the jury will award prizes of HUF 500,000 from the Ministry of Human Resources, HUF 500,000 from the Hungarian Academy of Arts, and prizes offered by the patrons to the works deemed best. In accordance with the Biennial's statutes, the award-winning works

will be added to the organizer's collection.
